Well guys, as you should be able to guess from my gallery, I'm back in the States. Europe was a blast (but it was stinkin hot though!) and i am now a poorer man because of it.
While 90% of Europe was amazingly cool, I do have some (for fun) complaints against it:
Europeans need to learn to embrace the true "air conditioner." We here in the States have been using it with much success for years. The ACs in the hotels i stayed in were not hooked up to a water source! that means they do nothing. hahah
Also, the American sandwich shops of Subway and Quizno's would put all the little subshops out of business. A ham and cheese sub for 7 euros or more?! what's the deal? any of you who know what Subway and Quizno's is should know exactly what im talking about. Ice cubes in my drink from time to time would be welcome also. I understand it's not southern USA and you probly wont have iced tea, but a little ice to make my water colder than room temp would be handy
Bottles of Coca cola for 2.50 euros?!?! I can get these for $1 max at just about anywhere and everywhere, haha. I learned VERY quickly to just drink water and be happy

. Even then, 1 euro or 1.50 euros when i couldnt find the little market store. I came back to the US relieved to find 12 packs of small water bottles for a little over $3.
Basically, im glad to be back where i dont go broke over each meal

. Dont get me wrong, my stay was grand! just a lot of money was coming out of my pocket, and i barely spent $100 on souveniers so it wasnt coming from there. Barcelona in Spain was far and away my favorite place. It felt incredibly homely and i loved the sights. And contrary to popular belief, most french people are quite pleasant. Provided they know a wee bit of english and are NOT taking your order at a restaurant. "Have it your way" does NOT apply in Europe. Also, fix your stupid ATMs. I would ask for some money, get paid in 50euro bills. It seemed to me that european cashiers loathe giving change. "Do you have anything smaller?!" was what i always heard over and over again, and then they'd look at me in disgust as they had to give me change for my 50euro bill. It's not my fault that the ATM gave it to me!! geeez. Hahaha
Comments and other questions on what i thought about certain things are welcome! I saw and experienced so much it's hard to recount it all!
